Before starting your fitness journey, it is best to understand what it is you are wanting to achieve, and why you are wanting to achieve them. Writing down short, medium and long term goals will not only help you understand where it is you are wanting to get, but it will become a lot clearer on how to get there.

Whatever your goals are, and wherever you want to be in life. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT FOR YOU!
If you are working towards goals to please someone else you are never going to make yourself happy, you will always be on the path to please not for pleasure.
Use yourself as motivation. Don’t look at other people on Instagram and Facebook to compare yourself, only compare yourself to how far you have already come and where you need to be.
Social media is a huge lie, everyone is at a different stage of their life and their own progress. So to compare your day 1 to someone else’s year 4 will only dishearten you and will potentially set you back.
